Alison's 4th Birthday

We celebrated Alison's birthday at Beaver Lake, while on vacation. We woke up bright in early, all huddled in one room and Alison transformed into a birthday princess.

My sweet friend, Andrea, made Alison her birthday dress. It says 'Birthday Girl' on the front and has a 4 on the back.

We had a pancake, bacon and egg feast for breakfast. Alison made cousin Kate birthday cupcakes on the ipod while we waited for grandpa and some of the crew to get back from their morning ski run.

Then the party began...we had princess cupcakes

and more princess cupcakes. What's a birthday without cupcakes at every meal?
We opened up presents...

and Alison was excited to FINALLY get the ladybug pillow pet she's been asking for FOREVER!
If you ask Alison what her favorite food is, she'll tell you "fruit snacks and pudding".
So as a special birthday treat from Grandma, she got fruit snacks in her pudding.

We spent most of the day in the lake, swimming, tubing and riding on the boat.
After dinner, Grandpa took Alison on a special boat ride, all by herself.
I know that made her feel like the ultimate princess.

From the tired look on her face, I think it's safe to say that Alison had the best 4th birthday a girl can have.
Thank you Mom and Dad for putting together one great party for my peanut!

When we got home from the lake, we had another small family party.

Alison got several new dresses, which is exactly what she needed!
Her legs are so long she's wearing a 5T!

I love how Eli is such a ham for the camera.
Even though the day was all about Alison, he still stole the shot :)

My baby is 4. I'm not ready for her to be 4. I wanted to freeze time here:
(Alison's 1st Birthday)

Happy Birthday Peanut! You'll always be my baby no matter how many birthdays you have.
