The boys sat quietly in the stroller as we walked around, looking at the animals. The lion was exceptionally close and kept looking at us. Eli said, "I don't think he likes us looking at him". Isn't it funny that we pay money to see animals that we're afraid of and could eat our children?
We stopped for a picnic lunch and counted zebras.
Eli was not interested in having his picture taken.
His favorite part of the zoo is the reptile house. He could have spent hours in there finding all the creatures. It's funny to me that he loves it so much. For years, I would take Alison and we didn't look once at the reptiles, but now that's the highlight of our trip.
