Life right now

I love this picture of Colin's eyes.
You know you're a mom when you can take pictures of your kids while foam rolling.  Every time I get on the roller, Colin will jump on and say "this is a fun ride mommy!".

Our house has entered a new phase...it no longer contains diapers or booster chairs or baby beds.  It only has 1 sippy cup and that's only because the middle child refuses to let go of a cup he can have in the living room.  It's a funny transition because as a woman, you long to have those things in your house most of your early life.  The second you become pregnant you make lists and registries full of baby things.  And then everyone tells you to enjoy the baby years because they go fast, but it's hard to really grasp that concept until you are taking the diaper gene to the dump.  It did go fast.  I have a feeling the next phase will go just as fast and I will be so sad when our house doesn't have all the funny things little kids do.

(if you can't hear it, he's breathing through his nose)

This was the perfect way to end my day -- a sweet photo, a hilarious video and the reminder that yes, every stage in life does seem to fly by.

So why was Eli breathing so intently through his nose??

because of swim lessons, Alison was trying to teach him to hold his breath. He was so proud of himself that he could hold his longer than her. I'm not sure if he just didn't understand the concept of holding his breath or if he was trying to trick Alison.
