Michigan, pt 2

Perfect weather + great backyard + lots of friends to play with = all day, everyday outside.
The Morehouse boys shared their love for frogs with Alison and they spent most days catching frogs and building them habitats in little cages.  Ok, there were a few interventions to save frogs from being swung on swings and slid down slides and catapulted across the yard.

When the littles crashed in the afternoon, the older kids gathered around with their "tablets" and played Minecraft together.  They figured out how to get in eachother's worlds and their banter as they played was SO funny.

Andrea brought her kids over most days and she would lay Nathan in this 'rock n' play'.  I had to take a picture because that's how jealous I am that these things did not exist when Alison was a baby.  Do you know how many hours of sleep this thing would have given me?

We made the trip to the Detroit Zoo one afternoon.  It was chilly that day and looked like it was going to rain at any moment...but then I remembered that's just how Michigan is, always.

Tim picked up dinner for all of us and brought it to the zoo so we could have a picnic and watch a kids concert.

All I'll say about the concert; it never ceases to amaze me what passes as kids music.

The littles listening to the music:
