Alison was working on Spanish (her class is still meeting on Zoom) on day and noticed that the page next to her lesson was a recipe for churros. She commented how fun that would be to make some, so we put it on our list.
What better time to make churros???
The dough was actually fairly easy to make.
I love that she still wears this apron.
I fried up the dough and Alison rolled them in the sugar. This was the time consuming part of it all.
Our piping bag broke halfway through and we were forced to make churro balls. Which, actually turned out to be way yummier than the sticks.
They didn't last on these plates long, so I would say it was a success!
