Tuesday night, Ben and I went out for the evening. We went to dinner, dessert and a movie.
Wednesday morning, we went blueberry picking. It was cold and raining (a stark contrast to 90 and sunny the day before), but Ben really wanted to go before he left. It actually was very peaceful out there and we had a great time.
Eli was so meticulous in his picking. He would examine each berry closely and eat every other one.
We picked a gallon of blueberries and a pint of strawberry and ate fresh strawberry ice cream on the way to swim lessons.
The kids were excited that daddy got to come to the last swim lesson and see all the things they could do. They gave all the kids lollipops at the end...that's why you hear Colin asking for one in the video.
